It is great to see how people are producing the work for this, the final part, of the project.
An important part of this is to vote on the photo competitions from our visits. The link is over on the right and you can vote on the photos from all of our trips. The competition for the Netherlands is already open, although there are only two photos. To have a look please click here.
Thanks

Castles in Roquetes
One of the greatest traditions of Catalunya is Castles (Castells or Castellers). This is the popular activity of standing people on the shoulders of others and making the castle as high as possible.
There are lots of groups of Castellers in Catalunya and the activity has been declared to be part of human heritage by the UNESCO.
Here you can see just how high groups of Castellers can actually make a castle. There are competitions held on many different towns around the country, often in the main square. It is normal for them to have eight or nine levels.
This may seem like a boring thing to do but it is a lot of fun. Some of the groups even do it naked to raise money and for fun, here is a group from Poble Sec in Barcelona who built their castles naked to make a nude calendar.
The students of Institute Roquetes in the Comenius project decided to try to copy their efforts for you in our gym. They didn't do it naked, thank God, and they don't have any Castellers in the group. But it was a lot of fun. Here you can see what happened.

We opened the Polish Exchange Box
Last Friday we received the Polish exchange box here in Roquetes. We delayed opening it till our Tuesday meeting here at the Institute.
Here you can see the photos, and a video, of the Comenius students opening the box. We all had a lot of fun, especially with the biscuits!

Antena Caro - 31-03-11 - Projecte COMENIUS,
It wasn't easy to find but finally I found the link to the radio transmission done by the teachers when you were all here in Roquetes.
Take a good look at all the smiling and giggling going on.
Institute Roquetes Radio Online
As part of the workshops we all took part in I did some interviews for our online radio. Unfortunately of the interviews I did several of them crashed when I tried to save them. Here are the three that survived.
Have a listen and someone please tell me what they all say in their language at the end, ok?

Photo exhibition
We have now collected all the photos from our students and had them printed out, then we have mounted them on cardboard and finally sealed them in plastic! At the moment the exhibition is on in the building where our senior students study. After a week we willl bring the exhibition here to the main building for all the students to see.
Then the plan is to take the exhibition to other schools in the local area, hence the covering the photos in plastic!
If you would like to see the photos in the exhibition please click on the photo below.

We now have the result of the logo competition. You have all voted, massively, for logo number 5 which is the logo below.
Now you all have to place this logo on your blogs in the bar on the right hand side or somewhere where it can be easily seen.
The logo is flexible in that you can download it and change its colour easily in any design program like Photoshop, Gimp etc.
Thank you for voting and thank you to everyone who took the trouble to design a logo.
